A pair of early 1900's French knitted socks. Cotton. Striped. Tan, black and light beige in color. A linen strap has been hand sewn to each of the the sock at the top.

Condition
 
Old darned repairs in the toes, heeels and center of the socks. Some slight soiling of the linenstrapes.
 
Other than giving the socks a long cold water soak and a long cold water wash wash the socks have been left in as found condition.
