A set of ancient European iron buttons. Most of these date from the 1700's and earlier. Most with a sun like or stylized blossom like motif. All have eyelets at the back. Perfect for period pieces, collage work, textile art, jewelry making.

Left in "as found" condition. They have not been cleaned. Well developed patina on all buttosn. One button has a bent side. All show some signs of wear which you would expect given the age.
