A set of 19th century French gold metallic tassels. Decorative dome shaped tops. At the bottom twist rope strands of fringe with strands of caterpillar accents. In addition some spectacular strands of fan shaped motifs garnished with tiny metal spangles and gold metallic thread with bobbles and ribbonwork pieces in between. Each tassel has developed an fairly even dark patina with lighter shades of gold still present.

Condition
 
Overalll good condition with a good appearance.  Do show some slight age related wear and it appears a bit of missing thread and tiny spangles in a few of the fan shaped motifs but nothing major and what you would expect on an item of this age.
