A matching set of probably early 1900's Chinese em!broideries. All hand done. Silk on silk. The motifs mirror each other and depict birds, branches and florals,
Photos are a good indication of actual color and condition. Base color of silk is ivory.

The measurement of each panel are

The measurements of only the embroidered part of each panel is
48 x 8.5 cm
Condiion
Left in as found condition.
The embroideries are in excellent condition. The silk base has aged showing color variations consistant with time and show some light stains and soiling at the folds which in my opinion only adds to the old work look. One of the panels shows some bleeding of the outer yellow thread which has gone into the silk but not the embroidery.
Silk is good and strong with no damage or splits.
