A vintage carboard spool of gold silk cording. Probably mostly used to outline or to couch together. It appears that the gold silk threads are wrapped around a silk or possible cotton core. Strong cording that will hold up to a lot of tension.

Undoubtedly at least 100 meters of cording on this spool.
