What use to be part of a 19th century French cotton scarf, this 19th century French cotton block print border. Depicting florals and leaves in blue, forest green, white and mustard against a pumpking colored bacground. This is a full side of the scarf including the corner motifs and a bit going up on both sides.

1 meter 29 cm in length x 28 cm (please note an extra strip has been hand stitched stitched to one end that measures 7 cm wide).

Condition
Distressed with some larger holes and many small holes and thin areas throughout. Colors are strong and consistant.
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then a light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
