This 19th century French cotton roll/block print fabric. Stripes in what use to be indigo blue (but has now aged to a blueish green) and natural red with accent colors in black and white.

Condition
 
Somewhat distressed with some splits and small holes. There are two patches one towards the center and one at the bottom edge. In addition you will see some old darned repairs. Good small areas here and there without damage. Colors good and even. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and then a light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
