Another interesting design in this 19th century French cotton print/roll print fabric. Background is a stripe with interlocking broken branch design in the foreground. Colors are a light greyish lavender with dark lavender and white.

*actually three pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together with a seam towards the top and running across the width and another small strip at the side running top to bottom. 
 
Condition
 
Distressed with some larger splits at the bottom. Some larger holes and some smaller holes as well as some thin areas. Colors are good, strong and even. No stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
