Age and beautiful. An 18th century French brocatelle silk fabric. Gold in color with a warm luster. Large floral and leaf motif. Silk threads are woven onto a linen base threads.  Medium weight. Suitable for upholstery projects as wellas soft furnishings. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Condition
 
The fabric was used as a wall covering at one time. There is a small worn spot at the left hand side and another even small spot at the right hand side. Three darker age spots one at the right side and two at the left side towards the bottom. Three splits along left side edge. A couple of tiny age spots here and there but doesn't distract. Threads are good and strong and color is even with no fading.
