An 18th century French quilt fragment. Fabric front and back.
 
Front: Linen. Block print. Depiciting petite rosy red bossoms on aubergine stems and leaves  with bit of light blue ribbon wrapped around the branches against a white background.
 
Back:  A silk stripe in light tan creme and green.

Condition
 
Front: has a some yellowing in the background and a few small holes throughout the entire piece. Best suited for smaller projects. There are several pieces sewn together and a couple of smaller patches
 
Back: Silk shows several breaks and fraying. 
 
The fabric has been left in "as found" condition.
