An 18th century French quilt fragment. Fabric front and back.
 
Front: Linen. Block print. Depiciting petite rosy red bossoms on aubergine stems and leaves  with bit of light blue ribbon wrapped around the branches against a white background.
 
Back:  A silk stripe in light tan creme and green.
 
Photos are a good represenation of actual color and condition.

Condition
 
Front: has a some yellowing in the background . There are a few holes and repairs here and there. There are 4 patches on the fragment , Three of patches are the same design and the other patch is a different 18th century floral design.  
 
Back: Silk shows several breaks and fraying. 
 
The fabric has been left in "as found" condition.
