An 18th century French silk and silver metallic thread brocade fabric. Depicting curvy stems with florals and leaves done in two different silver metal threads. Salmon colored silk base with woven deisgn of leafy branches and florals together with pieces of stylized ribbon. Lined at the back with a creme colored silk that has been hand stitched at the edges.
Cardboard label at the top describes the color.
Usually the brocades made in the 1700's used real gold and silver threads.

*actually three pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together. Seam runs from top to bottom towards the left hand side.
Condition
Left in as found condition.
Colors are good and strong and all threads intact.
The brocade is in very good condition. No damage. Silk strong.
Silk liner at the back shows two small holes and a small light stain.
