Two pieces of 18th century French silk and silver metallic thread brocade fabrics. Matching in design and probably used on a chasuble at one time. Depcits florals and leaves on windy leafy stems with smaller florals in between.
Colors are burgundy, shades of peach shades of blue and shades of green.
Background color antique white.
Usually the brocades made in the 1700's used real gold and silver threads.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

One piece measures
56 cm from top to bottom along straight edge x 24.5 cm wide widest points
The other piece measures
47 cm from top bottom along staight edge x 25 cm wide at widest points.
Condition
Left in as found condition.
Silk threads intact. Some missing areas of silver metal thread. Background color shows some age and light marks
Both pieees show some splits and small holes.
Probably best suited for documentation or framing.
