An 18th century French silk and silver metallic thread brocade fabric. Depicting larger groups of florals down the middle with smaller groups of florals at the sides on a stylized ribbon.
Colors: deeps shades of jeweled orange, yellow, shades of green
Background color creme and light pink
Usually the brocades made in the 1700's used real gold and silver threads.

*actually three pieces of the same fabric experted hand seamed together. One larger piece and two smaller pieces. Extraordinary how the motifs match up perfectly.
Condition
Left in as found condition.
Colors are good and strong all silk threads intact.
One larger hole at one side and one tiny break towards one end. You can see a bit of silver metal thread missing from the smaller groups of florals at the sides. For the rest the brocade is in strong condition.
