An 18th century French silk and  metal thread brocade fabric. Depicting groups of florals and leaves at one side and an intertwined windy strand of small florals and leaves with a windy strand of leafy branches. Done in silk and gold metal thread on a silver lame back.

Undoubtedly cut and probably used on a chasuble at one time.

Colors are rosy reds, yellow, salmon, violet, blue and shades of green.

Cardboard label at the bottom.

Usually the brocades made in the 1700's used real gold and silver threads.

Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
