Incredibly charming! An early 1800's French child's jacket. Cotton front with a block print fabric of styliwed blossoms and leaves. In the dark background you can see patterns of foilage. Reminds me very much of the bonne herb fabrics made by Oberkampf. All hand stitched. 
 
Colors are light pink and rosey red. light blue and white with a deep green background. 
 
Inside linen liner. 
 
Fabric has a full repeat of the design.

Condiion
 
Left in as found condition.
 
Appearance is good but there are some condition issues. At both arms breaks in the fabric. Some old repairs. Some small holes in the front and some wear and a break in the cotton along the front bottom edge. At the back a large break by one shoulder; 

Colors in the fabric are good and strong. No stains.
