An early 1900's Egyptian Assuit shawl. Made with flat wide silver metal threads woven into a white cotton tulle. Repeating geometric motifs that mirror each other.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
Measurements

The width is
69 cm wide
Condition
Good condition but a couple of things to note. I believe originally made to be a shawl and at one time someone intended to make it into a dress. There is a hole at the center which is positioned well so it would display nicely as a dress. The neckline is not finished off and has raw edges.
Two tiny breaks in tulle at one side of the shawl and two tiny breaks at other side. An small old repair at one side of the neckline and any small break in tulle at other side of neckline.
Breaks are small and repairs fairly simple when backed with a like tulle and hand stitched into place.
