An early 1900's Egyptian Assuit shawl. Made with flat wide silver metal threads woven into a white cotton tulle. Repeat large diamond shaped designs down the center of the shawl which flow at a slant from one side to the other. Small diamond motifs around the sides and at the ends.

Overall  good appearance with a clean look and very wearable. 
 
There are some condition issues. One small hole in tulle at one end. I counted 8 old repairs in the tulle ranging from  1 cm in length to a couple of centimeters in length. 
 
The old repairs would look nicer if backed with a like tulle to stabilize and lay flat.
