An early 1900's shades of dark blue and white plaid fabric. Appears to be a linen/cotton combination. Heavier weight. French in origin. Commonly used as mattress covers. Better known in France as "kelsch." Durable fabric suitable for upholstery projects as well as soft furnishings.
