An early 1900's French cotton toile du jouy. The original design was made by Oberkampf and dates from the 1700's. Depicts classical figures and a moth at each side. Bordered in stylized leaves and blossoms. Colors are blue and white.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

As you can see from the photos the fabric has been cut and used as a chair cover at one time.

Condition
Left in "as found" condition and not laundered. Good clean appearance for the most part but could use a freshening up.
There is a larger tear in the fabric upper left hand corner. Some tiny age spots One tiny hole between the two larger figures center. A couple of more tiny ages spots and tiny thin areas at the moth right hand side.
Colors are good and even.
