An early 1800's French siamoise block print fabric. Various small stemmed florals w/leaves with strands of  rasberry vines in between. Colors are rosey pinks, white and gold against a natural brown colored background.

*actually three pieces of the same fabric that have been hand seamed together. 
 
Condition
 
Heavily distressed large holes and missing pieces, many small holes and many thin areas. Some variation in color due to age, quilting and use but fairly consistant. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
