An antique Chinese silk embroidery fragment. Possibly part of a skirt of apron at one time. From top large stylized florals and leaves, below a band of 5 fishes, below a silk embroidereed trim with small florals. Towards the bottom a wider band of stylzied florals and leaves. All hnad done on a red silk base. Lined at the back with an indigo blue cotton.

Condition 
 
Overall good appearance and condition but a few things to note. One tiny hole in the red silk. There is some silk thread missing mainly in the larger motifs along the top (most notably in the bird). 
 
Would look stunning framed, upscaled into another garment or used as a pillow front.
