Antique chintz  breast plate or "borstlap" as we refer to it in Dutch. Several pieces of antique chintz sewn together. Backed with black linen. All hand stitched.  Hook and eye closure at one shoulder. Dates from the late the late 1800s. Wool ties at the bottom corners. . A small piece of antique silk ribbon at the neck.  Nice quality.

43 cm from shoulder to shoulder x 38 cm from top of the shoulder to the bottom of back. 

Condition
 
Good overall condition for it's age. The only thing to note is that you will see a couple of small age spots on the inside liner.
