Antique chintz  breast plate or "borstlap" as we refer to it in Dutch. Several pieces of antique chintz sewn together. Backed with black linen. All hand stitched.  Hook and eye closure at one shoulder. Dates from the late the late 1800s. Wool ties  at the bottom corners. Small pieces of antique silk ribbon at the neck in a royal purple color.  Nice quality. Photos are a good representation of actual color.

37 cm from shoulder to shoulder x 27 cm from top of the shoulder to the bottom.

Condition
 
Good overall condition for it's age. The only thing to note is that you will see some age spots on the inside of the liner.
