Antique Dutch  chintz bauwen. Part of the traditional wear in the city of " Marken " in Holland.Indienne design. Beautiful floral design against a dark brown almost black ground. Dates from the mid 1800's. Hand stiched edges.  Good strong colors. Still shows glaze. Antique red plaid added to the bottom.

Good overall condition. The only thing to note is that at the bottom corner there are repairs where a small patch has been added to the back of the fabric . Towards the top there are 2 tiny faint thinning areas. Good condition for it''s age and use.
