Antique Dutch  chintz fragment. Part of the traditional wear in the city of " Marken " in Holland.  Part of a breast plate .Beautiful floral design against a dark brown ground . Dates from the mid 1800's.  Still shows some light glaze.  Good strong colors. Photos are a good representation of actual color.

43 cm across the shoulders x 32.5 cm from top of the shoulder to the bottom of the fabric

Condition
 
Uses but still in good condition.  The only thing to note is that around the neck and side you will see tiny sewing holes . A small break at the left hand side top edge.  At the top part on the sides you will see several pieces pieces sewn together .
