Love the craftmanship and warm golden tones  of this 19th century French bois dore mirror. Wood. European. Purchased here in the South of France. Birds along the sides with scrolls and leave motifs top and bottom.

Left in "as found" conditon. 
 
Overall very good condition with no breaks or missing parts. You can see that the frame has missing areas of gold leaving the dark terracotta base coat exposed but has an even appearance. The mirror for the most part has lost it's silver coating.
