A late 1800's early 1900's bent wood basket. Purchased in France.  Spindled around the sides. Bone button on each side. Warm darkish brown color.

Left in "as found" conditon. No cracks or breaks. 
 
Very good condition with minor wear and a couple of small white marks which coulld be removed if desired.  I do believe the basket may have had a handle at one time because I have seen a similiar piece on the internet with a handle which would have reached from one of the bone buttons to the other.
