A late 19th century French bodice front. Body made of white cotton muslin cotton. Collar made of a solid cotton with a beautifully executed cutwork and embroidered floral design. Two fabric covered button closures. Matching sleaves are made of the same materials and have fabric covered button closures All hand stitched. This set may have been a salesman sample since there are hand written numbers in pencil on the back of the bodice. Set has been starched.
