An early 1900's French bolster pillow. Made from blue and white cotton plaids. A light blue and white example and a navy blue and white example. Mostly hand stitched with some machine stitching. Opening at one side for the insert. Lots of character with added matches from the top and underneath side. The size would work well for a small bench or a single person bed.

Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition and not laundered. Clean appearance with no stains.
 
At one end you can see some tattered fabric that wore out at one point and has been patched from underneath. The same goes for a small hole at one side. Lovely as is or a good piece for upscaling.
