A 19th century French chasuble liner. Made from a finely woven jute and heavily starched with much of the starching still intact. Front and back are all cut from the same piece of jute with an extra bit hand sewn on to the sleeves to add length. Natural jute coloring with old white starch traces throughout

Condtiion

 

Left in as found condition. Good condition with no damage. You will see some light soiling but nothing major.  Some light traces of pencil trace lines where trims or fabrics would have been placed.
