A very decorative looking and aged look to this 19th century French chasuble. Silk brocades of florals and leaves front and back. Beautiful gold metallic trims with a repeating grape on the vine design around all edges. 
 
Lined with cotton.

Left in "as found" condition. 
 
For the most part the silk brocades are in good stable condition but there are a few splits and you can see that several pieces have been used and seamed together. The silk brocades have aged showing fading and discoloration on both front and back having a somewhat mottled look. 
 
Metallic trims in used but good condition. 
 
Decorative on it's on or a good item with a lot of material for upscaling.
