Some stunning silk embroidery work in the antique French chasuble. I believe the chasuble is a combination of 18th and 19th centure materials. Basically pieces that have been saved and reused at a later date.

The rectangular silk brocade panels at the center front and back probably 19th center as well as the gold metal trims along the sides.

The side panels front and back 18th century with hand embroidered motifs of florals and leaves in a very fine stitch on a silk base. The silver metal trims around the neck and down the middle sections also 18th century, double weave. Silver metal threads on a linen thread base.

The liner is glazed and appears to be cotton or very finely woven linen.

Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
