Probably a early 1900's French linen sack. Distressed. The sack is made of several linen pieces that have been hand seamed together. Hand embroidered cross stitch monogram at the top. A patch from linen on one side and on the other side. Large jute patch on one side with a monogram. Natural linen color,

Very distressed look with a large holes at one bottom corner, another at one side and damaged area top corner. Several stains throughout some with a pinkish coloring. 
 
Could use a good soak to freshen up.
