Part of a large collection of antique French silk ribbon samples we bought some time ago.
 
Dating from the late 1800's early 1900's. This sample has a linen base in a natural linen color with classic stylized floral motifs done in a silk thread.

Condition
 
Old stock. Excellent unused condition. The only thing to note is some blue spots at each corner where the ribbon was probably mounted in a book at one time.
