Part of a large collection of antique French silk ribbon samples we bought some time ago.
 
Dating from the late 1800's early 1900's. This sample has a has a repeating thistle design in a white thread. Design is woven not printed.  Silvery mint colored background.

Condition
 
Old stock good unused condition. You will see some light aging of the ribbon along one side and there are some glue residue spots at each corner from where the ribbon was once fixed inside a book.
