I've got a passion for antique utilitarian textiles because of their decorative esthetic and useful purposes. 
 
This antique flour sack from Avignon is made of jute with the name of the manufacture and it's origin printed across the front. I particularly like blueish stripe across the top and across the bottom. The back has some crude repairs and some patches that have been done with a chanvre linen. All hand stitched. Would make great rustic looking pillows and work well for upholstery projects.  Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

1 meter 16 cm across x 56 cm wide. 
 
Condition
 
The bottom edge has come undone and there is a section that has some fray but fortunately along the edges. A couple of small darkish stains but nothing that I found distracts and only adds to the authenticity. 
 
The sack has been laundered with those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents to remove years of dust.
