Antique French stola. Some interesting gold work embroidery in this piece with scrolled leaves, crosses and stylized florals and leaves at the bottom. The work is very similiary to Ottoman embroideries. All done on a cremey silk back. Gold metallic twist rope cording along all sides and gold metallic bullion fringes at the bottom edges. Also lined at the back with silk.

Condtion
 
All of the gold work embroidery is in good condition as well as the gold metallic rope cording along the sides. Fringes show some wear. The silk ground has begun to split in places and the cording has come loose at one side. Silk lining at the back shows some soilig and light stains from use. Good piece for upscaling.
