Large antique vestment applique. French in origin. Depicting a lamb resting on a cross and bible. All done in gold and silver metal threads. Cover of the bible down in gold lame. Metal oval shaped spangles along the bottom. Rays of sun around the sides done in gold metal spangles and gold metallic threads. Beautifully made all by hand.
