Probably a early 1900's French linen sack. Hand embroidered cross stitch monogram at the top with the letters "FM." Navy blue, white and light red strip down the middle on both sides. Seams have all been hand stitched.   Darker natural linen color,

Overall very good condition. One small hole at one bottom corner. One side shows several stains. The other side has a cleaner look with only a few very small light stains. 
 
Could use a good soaking to freshen up.
