A 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Tear drop shaped motifs with some fantastic details on tiny florals and leaves. Colors in the motifs are rosy red, pink, greyish blue and yellow. Background color beige.

1 meter 84 cm in length x 26 cm wide. 
 
Condition
 
Highly distressed with many large and small holes throughout as well as thin areas. Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines. Two patches. Colors vary slight due to age, use and quilting. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
