An early 1900's French silk chiffon crepe shawl. Hand embroidered. Large repeating motifs of florals, buds and leaves along all sides. All on a blue bacground. Fringes along all sides.

Condition
Left in "as found" condition,
Most notable a small L shaped tear which can be seen in the photos. It measures 4 x 5 cm and could be mened. The silk chiffon has a large fade area from about the middle and towards one corner with some smaller areas here and there with very light fade.
All the embroidery work is in very good condition.
Fringes are a bit of a tangle and need a steaming. Also show some slight fade in color here and there but nothing dramatic.
Still very useable and wearable as is.
