A late 19th century French needlework. Hand done. Wool with silk thread accents. Sofa cover depicting classical figures dancing and playing musical instruments center with an oval ring of florals, leaves and grapes on the vine along the sides.

Left in "as found" condition.
 
Even surface soiling due to use and you may want to give the needlework a professional cleaning before use.
 
Here and there throughout you will seen signs of threads loss but has a fairly even appearance.  No holes or damage for the rest and the base is in good strong condition so the needlework could easily be used for upyholstery projects, soft furnishings or would frame up nicely.
