A 19th century French toile du jouy. Block print on a finely woven cotton. Depcting Asian motifs of a figure, pegoda, trees, florals and a butterfly. Saved from an old screen.

Left in "as found" condition and not laundered.
 
The fabric was attached to a screen at one time with a layer of batting underneath the fabric. Large holes and damage at the top of this panel with some smaller holes and tears here and there. The fabric with the figure and pegoda is in good condition without damage. Other small areas in good condition. Heavy glue spot at the top of the fabric.  Fabric areas without damage is still good and strong and suitable for sewing. 
 
You will see some slight age spots but prefer leaving any cleaning up to the discretion of the customer.
