Rare find! Charming 19th century French needlework book cover. All hand done. Front depicts a chateau  in the background. Small small with a bridge center and a large tree to tthe right. Bordered with fleur de lys around all sides. Backside stylized blossoms and leaves with a border of fleur de lys around all sides. 
 
Inside lined with silk.

Good condition in the scenes of the chateau and back scene of stylized florals. Borders of fleue de lys show some threads loss and heavier thread loss at the binder. 
 
Inside silk is worn and frayed at the edges and has some large stains on both sides at the bottom.
