Probably dating from the early 1900's a long panel of Chinese embroidery depicting three dragons, a butterfly,  leafy branches and stylied blossoms in gold metallic thread. Eyes of the dragon done in a silk thread. All done on a orange/red background. Linened at the back ith a glazed cotton. 

 

Photos are a good indication of color and condition. 

 

Measurements

 

2 meters in length

 

(embroidery only bit at one end not included in measurements without embroidery)

 

The width is 18.5 cm wide 

 

Condition

 

Overall condition is good but there are a few condition issues

 

-some gold threads here and there have come loose and need to be stitched back into place

-silk along the bottom edge shows fray and splits in some areas 

-there is one area between two of the dragon at the top that has a wax spots. Leaving in cleaning of the wax up to the discretion of the customer.
