Antique silver metallic fringe. French in origin. Probably dates from the early 1900's. Twist rope strands.

Condition
Used but still in good condition. The only thing to note is that you will see a few darker spots of patina along the braid and some dark spots of patina on the fringes at one end. Will look great with old textiles.
