Late 1800's Romania apron. All hand done gold work embroidery in a gold and dark grey metal thread. Design is outlines in silver purl threads. All done on a light brown velvet.
 
Edges along three sides have a gold metallic trims. 
 
Fringes are made of sheeps wool. Three metal rings have been added along the top edge so the apron could be hung for decoration.

Embroidery work is in very good condition. 
 
Gold metallic trim around the sides has some wear and has come loose at the ends. 
 
Fringes show a bit of tangle, some variation in color due to age and exposure but have an overall even look for the most part
