Antique Dutch chintz bauwen. Part of the traditional wear in the city of " Marken " in Holland. Beautiful floral design against a white ground. Dates from the mid 1800's. Narrow piece of lace sewn on the back of the bauwen. Hand stiched edges. Still shows some glaze . Good strong colors. Original selvedge at one side. Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.
