Late 1800's Romania embroidered apron. All hand done. Predominantly in a silk thread showing groupds of florals and leaves to the sides with long straings of florals and leaves traveling done the middle. Around the motifs you will see gold work and silk threads woven onto a velvet base.
The fringes and trims along the side are probably made of sheeps wool as well as the long fringes hanging from the bottom. Rings have been added along the top edge so the apron can be hung for decoration.
The base which can be seen from te back is wool (probably sheep).
Photos are a good indication of color and condition.
